When an admin no longer needs access to your account—such as when they change roles or leave your organization—you can deactivate their account to immediately remove access while keeping historical data intact.
How to deactivate an admin account
Step 1: Open the admin’s profile
From the Admins page, locate the admin you want to deactivate and click the notepad icon to open their profile.
Step 2: Update admin status
In the admin profile, select Account details.
Under Admin status, you’ll see two options: Active and De-activated.
Step 3: Deactivate the admin
Select De-activated, then click Save.
Step 4: Confirm deactivation
Once saved, the admin’s status will update to De-activated, confirming they no longer have access to the admin dashboard.
Good to know
Deactivated admins can no longer log in or access the admin dashboard.
Deactivation does not delete historical activity or records.
Only Full Access admins can deactivate other admin accounts.
Admins can be reactivated at any time if access is needed again.
If you’re deactivating an admin temporarily or as part of an offboarding process, you can always reactivate their account later if needed.
