Not every admin needs full access to your account. Restricting admin permissions allows you to control what each admin can view or manage, helping you protect sensitive areas while still giving your team the access they need to do their jobs.
How admin permissions work
Admin permissions are managed by section and broken into two levels:
View – Allows the admin to see that section
Edit – Allows the admin to make changes in that section
There’s no all-or-nothing approach. You can tailor access for each admin based on their role and responsibilities.
What each permission controls
Below is a breakdown of what access each section provides:
| Section | View | Edit |
|---|---|---|
| Jobs | View job postings and shared jobs | Add and edit job postings so employees can share jobs |
| Candidates | View candidate progress through the hiring pipeline | Manage candidate status and ensure points are awarded appropriately |
| Redemptions | View redemption requests | Mark redemption requests as Sent to payroll (for payroll redemption agencies) |
| Recognition Points | View recognition activity | Send recognition points and tailored text messages to employees |
| Recognition Points – Advanced | — | Override default category point amounts and admin budgets |
| Employees | View employee list | Add new employees so they can start earning points and sharing jobs |
| Administrators | View admin list | Add new admins and manage admin access |
